Milford Sound Cruise

At the end of the Milford Road is Milford Sound, a fiord within Fiordland National Park, where we boarded the Red Boat for our cruise. We had a private lunch with champagne, hot soup and sandwiches in our own VIP Lounge. Milford Sound sports two permanent waterfalls and is known as New Zealand’s wettest inhabited place and one of the world’s wettest. Its sheer rock faces rise more than 3,900 feet on either side. The rain held off for a while, so i was able to take some fairly good photos.
