This was the last day of our tour. These photos are of Auckland Harbour where we took the ferry to Waiheke Island.
We had great views of Auckland and Hauraki Gulf from the ferry.
Waiheke Island is virtually a suburb of Auckland with a population of approximately 9,000. People ride the ferry daily to commute to and from their jobs in Auckland.
Our first stop was at Rangihoua Estate for a demonstration of how olive oil is made and olive oil tasting.
Our scenic drive provided great views of the beach, harbour and island homes.
We arrived at the Mudbrick Vineyard & Restaurant for wine tasting (four different wines) and lunch. We had time afterwards to enjoy the beautiful gardens and the panoramic views.

These are my very last photos – our city tour of Auckland on our way back to our hotel for our farewell reception and dinner.
