Our group had a private tour of the Sydney Opera House, probably the most recognizable building in Australia. Its unique shell-inspired design was rescued from a pile of discarded submissions, and its construction was both challenging and controversial. Venues include the Concert Hall, the Joan Sutherland Theatre and the Drama Theatre. Over 40 shows a week are held here.
